A couple weeks ago I bought a kindle paperwhite, from Amazon. I have a prime membership which snags me 2 day free shipping on lots of items, a huge array of movies and TV shows for free on my TV or computer though Amazon prime app or a "ROKU" player. I play it through a VIZIO tv in one room and a ROKU 3 in another.
I love this kindle paperwhite. I have had other kindle products, the kindle keyboard 3g, the kindle fire and the kindle fire hd 8.9" .
I really love this little kindle (and it is little, fits in your back pocket) and it is perfect for summer with a screen that you can see out in the sunlight... I tried it successfully right away, cause if it didn't work, it wasn't what I needed. BUT, it worked perfectly just like the TV commercials said it would. I am also able to read at night with its built in back-light.
I also love the fact that I can download free books from my library card through reads.lib.overdrive.com which I can borrow for 21 days, up to 15 books at a time, per card.
Of course there is also the kindle lending library which nets me a free loaner book from their loaner library, which has thousands of books free for one month or longer if you don't finish it within the month, but you can have only one book loaned out at a time. I usually end up getting a book for my kids home school lessons as we like to read a chapter a day together.
