Searching for a Music Appreciation Curriculum?

I have been searching for a home school music curriculum. I want my children to learn music appreciation and learn the styles and sounds of some of the popular artists of the past and present.  I don’t feel it is so important to know where someone lived, what their parents did etc.etc.etc.  Needless to say, I am still searching.
I like the price and fun level represented in Erica’s, Confessions of a Homeschooler, Worlds Greatest  Composer series but don’t like the idea of spending 60-$100 on the  8 extra books required for the course.  I have seen a couple of these books at my library though and could possible find a deal on Ebay or Amazon for used text.  I also think these books are great and don’t go to in depth while giving a good study of the composer.

I also stumbled upon Easy Peasy All in One Homeschool a  FREE home school created by a multiple child educator who had the forethought to put all her curriculum online, how wonderful of her, for donation cost only.  Easy Peasy has a multi-category music curriculum as well and all the material is available online and even separated into a schedule which means no work for me. I am really digging Music Geography and Cultures which takes you to the Carnegie Hall “Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra”. Older kids will venture to the San Francisco Orchestra site.
