Guinea fowl

I had to go to Rural King today, we are having a small flea problem. While there I heard the familiar cheep of baby chickens. I thought this was odd as I thought they only sold the chicks in the spring. So while I was oohing and ahhing over the chicks with the other children (LOL) I met a woman who had to give her ducks and guinea fowl away. HURRAY!  So now I am have fowl again: two ducks, Flutter a white Peking and Jumper a male Mallard, and two Guinea, Which I have renamed Purdy and Pongo after 101 dalmations, since they are black with white spots. They have adjusted quite nicely as my yard is similar to the yard they left. They are friendly and enjoy hanging closeby. Best of all my minimal research shows they eat all kinds of bugs: ticks, spiders and fleas. Perhaps I solved my flea problem afterall.
