Brahms, Classical music study
I got some great ideas for music study from various homeschooling blogs. I liked the idea of just listing to a certain composer for several weeks until everyone understood the style of music and or could recognize a few songs. We read a great book on Brahms which I got from the Montgomery county library along with a CD of Brahms. Unfortunately the CD was due before we really got into the study. I clicked watch later on several You Tube selections, but either they weren't working properly or my Internet connection is crappy, or both. So I was pleasantly surprised that I could get 100" Brahms - 100 Supreme Classical Masterpieces: Rise of the Masters""songs at Amazon MP3 downloaded to my computer and my Samsung Galaxy Tab for 1.99. Now I put on some songs during spelling, easy math review or other simple task times. I tell the kids who the composer is and the name of the song. Enjoyable.
