Yesterday homeschooling was so pleasant. I read 2 science lessons to the kids lounging in the bedroom, we watched 3 episodes of weird, true & freaky on Amazon prime and I read Dwaina Brooks from CJ's reader and we discussed volunteering. NICE.
Today, the kids seemed CRAZY. Jayden started doing that whining thing, CJ was squirming and complaining and this was just while I was trying to get them to do spelling. So we got through that and then watched a Death Valley documentary on Amazon prime. Next we took a break and took the dogs to the Fort Campbell Park and Pavilion where we fed the ducks, played on the swings, climbed some rocks and I tried to sneak in a little learning, talking about what might live in this habitat and the benefits and dangers to it. After a trip to sonic for some slushies I will try to get some more learning in although a nap sounds good too.
